SS 321 / 321H High Temperature Stainless Steel Pipes
Stabilized with titanium for maximum creep resistance and intergranular corrosion immunity in thermal applications up to 900°C.
ASTM A312 TP321 / TP321H Process Pipe
Starlight Tubes manufactures and exports ASTM A312 TP321 / 321H seamless and welded stainless steel pipes engineered for high-temperature and severe thermal cycling environments. Grade 321 contains a controlled addition of titanium (minimum 5x C content) which stabilizes the steel against chromium carbide formation during prolonged exposure to temperatures between 427°C and 816°C.
Our 321 and 321H pipes are supplied in fully annealed or solution heat-treated conditions with 100% PMI, hydrostatic, ultrasonic, and IGC (ASTM A262 Practice E) testing. They are widely used in aircraft exhaust manifolds, expansion joints, refinery thermal reactors, boiler superheaters, and chemical furnace tubing.

Frequently Asked Questions on Stainless Steel 321 / 321H Pipes
Key engineering, tolerance, and international compliance answers from our metallurgical quality desk.
Titanium combines preferentially with carbon to form titanium carbide, preventing the precipitation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries and protecting the pipe from intergranular corrosion at temperatures between 427°C and 816°C.
